Flying & Roving Probe
Foundation Technology has two extremely advanced SPEA 4040 flying probe testers. The Flying Probe testers test for adjacent pin shorts, adjacent point shorts, passive analogue, and implied opens to passives.
Advantages of Flying/Roving Probe Testing:
- Good for prototypes/low volumes
- Access less demanding
- Relatively low non-recurring-engineering-costs
